Our Vaulted Earth

1. Who We Are

Our Vaulted Earth is a Hindi-language YouTube documentary channel covering ancient Indian mysteries, Vedic heritage, archaeological discoveries, and cosmic phenomena. This privacy policy applies to our YouTube channel and the internal tools we use to produce and publish our content.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Viewer names, email addresses, or contact information
• YouTube account details of viewers or subscribers
• Viewing history or watch patterns
• Comments or interactions beyond what YouTube itself records
• Location or device data
• Cookies or tracking identifiers

3. YouTube API Usage

Our Vaulted Earth uses the YouTube Data API v3 to manage content on our own channel. This API access is used exclusively by the channel owner — no viewer data is requested or accessed.

Specifically, the YouTube API is used to:

• Upload video files to our own YouTube channel
• Set and update video privacy status (private / public)
• Update video metadata — title, description, tags, chapters

Our use of YouTube API Services is governed by and subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

OAuth Token Storage

To authenticate with the YouTube API, we use OAuth 2.0. The resulting access token and refresh token are stored in an encrypted file on our private server. These tokens:

• Are used only to authenticate API requests on behalf of the channel owner
• Are never transmitted to any third party
• Are stored only on our private production server
• Can be revoked at any time via Google Account settings

4. Third-Party Services We Use

Our content production pipeline uses the following third-party services. None of these services receive viewer data — they process only our internal production content.

5. YouTube Analytics

As a YouTube channel, we have access to YouTube Studio analytics — aggregated, anonymised data about video performance, watch time, and audience demographics. This data is provided by YouTube and governed by their privacy policy. We do not have access to individual viewer identities through this data.

6. Comments

Comments left on our YouTube videos are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We read comments to engage with our audience but do not store or process comment data outside of YouTube's platform.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Vaulted Earth content is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Our videos are marked as "not made for kids" on YouTube.

8. Data Retention

We do not retain viewer personal data because we do not collect it. Internal production data (scripts, research notes, episode metadata) is retained on our private server for ongoing production purposes.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Right to access personal data we hold about you
• Right to request deletion of personal data
• Right to object to processing
• Right to data portability
